Caviar processing:

  1. Standards: All of Javid Caspian Trading’s caviars are processed and packed using world sanitary standards (HACCP) and in processing centers that adhere to European standards (EU Code).
  2. Packing: In these centers, caviar is packed using the traditional method in metallic or plastic tins with capacities of 500, 1000, and 1800 grams.
  3. Maintenance temperature: The optimal temperature for storing caviar is considered to be between (+2) and (-2) degrees Celsius.

  4. Storage period: If the temperature conditions are maintained consistently, the caviar can be stored for a period of 9 to 12 months in its original tins.

  5. Combinations (additives): During caviar processing, a combination of caviar and pure salt is used, along with Boric Acid (E284) and Borax (E285). However, in countries with limited sanitary regulations, the combination of processed caviar may be prepared without Boric Acid and Borax, based on customers’ orders.

  • Repacking: Repacking is performed while adhering to HACCP requirements and maintaining complete sanitary conditions. The repacked caviar is available in packaging options of 15, 25, 50, and 100, according to customers’ preferences. When the air inside the caviar-filled tins or glass containers is removed and the containers are vacuum-sealed, the caviar can be stored for a duration of 4 to 6 months, provided the packs remain unopened and optimal temperature conditions are maintained.

To ensure further assurance, the tins’ lids are sealed with paper or lead seals. The tins are then placed in boxes, surrounded by numerous ice packs to minimize air exposure. The boxes are securely closed, minimizing the possibility of air escaping. Ionolite boxes, containing the caviar, are transported from the cold storage facility to the customs’ refrigerated area in a specially equipped vehicle with refrigeration capabilities. Upon reaching the customs’ area, the boxes are promptly placed in the customs’ fridge, following the necessary steps outlined by customs regulations.
